With over 30 years dedicated to this art form—dating back to the Edo and Meiji eras—Oka-san personally inspects and tests every box to ensure impeccably smooth movements.

A 10-Step Dual Mystery

Engage your mind with a sophisticated mechanism utilizing 3 moving panels and 1 sliding key. This puzzle box offers a rewarding two-part solution: complete the first 7 sequential steps to unlock the main lid, then continue to the 10th step to seamlessly release a hidden drawer for your most precious items.

Unique Yosegi Design

No two boxes are exactly alike. While the side panels consistently feature a striking "Ichimatsu" (checkered) pattern, the traditional Yosegi-zaiku designs on the top panel and drawer front vary, making your box a one-of-a-kind collector's item. The aesthetic is grounded by a bottom panel crafted from sliced natural makore wood.
