The Diagonal Puzzle

The work's title is your best clue: "Nanome" means "diagonal" or "slanted" in Japanese. While your instinct tells you to pull the drawer straight out, this box resists. Daiki Arimura has designed a subtle mechanism where the movement defies standard rules. It's a fun tactile challenge that plays with your expectations.

Deceptive Symmetry

Crafted from a warm blend of cherry, walnut, and magnolia, this box features a confusing peculiarity: it has a handle on the front... and on the back. This symmetry is designed to baffle you.
