Sayagata: An Auspicious Maze

The box is wrapped in the intricate Sayagata pattern (a traditional interlocking key fret design), representing eternal continuity and abundance. This mesmerizing lattice is overlaid with a bold dark wooden cross (Tasuki), seemingly binding the box shut like a precious parcel. The visual complexity serves as perfect camouflage for the mechanism hidden within.
