This spectacular creation, "A Horse with a Warrior" brings the story of the Trojan Horse to your collection. Originally produced for the "Ancient Times" exhibition, this piece is available in excellent pre-owned condition. Standing over 20cm tall, it commands attention with its robust construction and refined finish using Japanese Walnut and Wenge.

The Warrior Within

Just like in the ancient story, the secret lies deep inside. While the mechanism reveals two storage compartments, they are merely decoys. The true challenge is to locate the hidden room housing a tiny, intricate warrior. This figure was not carved by just anyone, but by the specialist craftsman Kobitokitan, adding a layer of artistic collaboration to the piece.

A Visual Trick

The mechanism is designed to tease the observer. As you manipulate the drawer, keep a close watch on the "windows" of the horse. You might catch a glimpse of the warrior spying on you from within. A perfect blend of narrative storytelling and mechanical ingenuity.
