A Challenge of Curves

Crafting a Karakuri box usually involves precise rectangular joinery. Here, Iwahara mastered the lathe to create the perfectly rounded bowl of the mill, a feat he delayed attempting for years due to its difficulty. The result is a stunning combination of Teak and Wenge woods that feels substantial and luxurious in hand.
