MINI GORON: The Relaxing Rabbit

The "Super Goron" Flop

Because of the specific structure of their legs, rabbits cannot lie down slowly. While wild rabbits rarely get the chance to let their guard down, domestic rabbits are a different story. When they are in a place where they feel completely safe and can truly relax, they will suddenly flop over onto their side. In Japanese, this sudden, dramatic resting pose is called "SUPER GORON" ("Goron" meaning to lie down).

Please Do Not Disturb

Seeing a rabbit do this sudden flop can actually be a bit of a shock to their owners, making us worried that something is wrong! But the rabbit doesn't care if they startle us; they just want to chill. The craftsman playfully requests that we please do not bother them while they are relaxing.

A Miniature Remake

This sweet puzzle is a direct remake of the earlier, larger KY-43 "SUPER GORON". The size has been significantly reduced to make it a perfect, palm-sized desk companion, but the clever opening method remains almost exactly the same. Crafted from beautiful contrasting woods, it holds a tiny secret space inside.
