There is no guide here. Master craftsman Hideaki Kawashima has intentionally kept the number of steps to open the "XY mini" a secret. This is an invitation to pure exploration, where your intuition and experience with Karakuri mechanisms will be your only allies. The box also features a strengthened dummy mechanism, designed to thwart the most logical attempts and put your perseverance to the test.

An Ingenious, Redesigned Cube

Created in May 2025, the "XY mini" is a concentrate of innovation. More compact than its predecessor (70mm³ vs. 86mm³), it integrates a new inner lid that creates a much wider opening, making access to the storage space easy and practical. Although delicate, this cube is the result of precision engineering where every adjustment counts for a unique solving experience.
